00:00 Television's biggest stars finally celebrated the 2023 Emmys on Monday night.
00:04 Viewers at home saw succession, the bear, and beef dominate the ceremony.
00:08 But what did the cameras miss?
00:10 I'm Tiffany Taylor for The Hollywood Reporter here at the Emmys,
00:13 and we're showing you the moments you didn't see on TV.
00:15 Ahead of the ceremony, THR spotted Selena Gomez heading to her seat with newly-official boyfriend
00:21 Benny Blanco. No surprise, Gomez was seated next to her Only Murders in the Building co-stars,
00:26 Martin Short and Steve Martin. Meanwhile, on the red carpet, stars were seen hugging it out,
00:30 like the Bears' Eban Moss-Backrack and Better Call Saul's Rhea Sehorn,
00:34 and Coleman Domingo and Cheryl Lee Ralph.
00:36 Once the show started, the audience kept getting on their feet, giving standing ovations to the
00:40 likes of Christina Applegate, Carol Burnett, Marla Gibbs, lead actress and a comedy series winner
00:45 Quinta Brunson, and Niecy Nash, the only person to get the room to jump to their feet after her
00:50 emotional speech. "And you know who I want to thank? I want to thank me."
00:54 "For believing in me and doing what they said I could not do."
01:00 While Pedro Pascal was presenting the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series,
01:05 he explained why his arm is currently in a sling. However, the Fox broadcast censored
01:09 pretty much everything he said. "And I think tonight is a perfect time to tell everyone that
01:14 Kieran Colton is a good man."
01:19 Inside the room, the audience heard Pascal jokingly claim that Succession star Kieran
01:23 Colton beat him up, or as he put it, "Kieran Colton beat the f--- out of me."
01:28 Fans of the two actors know that pals Pascal and Colton love to give each other a hard time,
01:32 as exhibited in our Drama TV Actors Roundtable.
01:34 And when Colton won Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, he revealed that he wants to
01:50 have more children while thanking his wife Jazz and their two kids. "And Jazz, I want more.
01:55 You said, you said maybe if I win." Later in the press room, he explained the headline-making moment.
02:05 "I've been asking for a while, and my wife, Jazz, said, 'Maybe if you win the Emmy, ha ha ha.' And
02:12 I didn't bring it up for months, and then when I won the Globe, I said, 'You remember what you said?'
02:17 And she was like, 'What? No, what did I say? I don't remember this.' And I told her, and it
02:20 all came back to her. So then she spent the whole week being nervous. And instead of just talking
02:25 to her in private like a human, I just blasted her on stage, which was very rude."
02:30 And after the show, winners like Steven Yeun and Lee Sung Jin of Beef were spotted getting
02:34 their Emmys engraved at the Governor's Gala. For much more from the 75th Emmys, including
02:39 red carpet interviews and the full list of winners, head to THR.com.
02:42 For The Hollywood Reporter News, I'm Tiffany Taylor.
