00:00 Hello, here's your look ahead to what's going on around Burnley and Pendle this weekend.
00:09 Pantel season is upon us and Burnley Pantomime Society is staging its annual show with Easton
00:13 favourite Aladdin wowing audiences at the Burnley Mechanics Theatre. There will be matinee
00:18 performances both days at 12 noon and an afternoon performance at 4.30pm. Over in Pendle comes
00:26 Pendle Hippodrome Theatre meanwhile as perennial favourite Jack and the Beanstalk. Again there
00:32 will be a matinee and afternoon performance, this time at 1pm and 5pm.
00:38 Christmas might be over but Burnley's nightlife certainly isn't slowing down. Live music venue
00:43 The Loom reopens this weekend with indie rock and roll covers band Banter Rays playing at
00:49 9.30pm on Friday and on Saturday 80s to modern rock band Saxon will be playing at 9.30pm.
00:57 Sicking to live music Remedy Gym Bar in Burnley's Ormrod Street will have Groove Thing doing
01:02 their thing on Friday at 9.30pm. And if you need to clear your head after all that the
01:08 ever popular Burnley Park Run will once again be taking place in Tangler Park at 9am on
