00:23 Dylan how did the market go today?

00:25 The market here at Mortlake today was very good, we drew for 5700 cattle which was a

00:30 nice quality yarding.

00:31 The majority of it were Angus steers which did sell to strong demand with most of that

00:36 demand coming for those steers 360-380 kilos plus.

00:40 We did see prices around that $3.10 to $3.30 for the very better end and a couple at $3.35

00:46 majority of them $3.10 to $3.20 once they were over that 370-380 kilo mark.

00:52 After you came under that 350 mark pretty much everything from 300-350 kilos on the

00:57 Angus steers they all made very similar money with a handful at that $2.70 end but the majority

01:03 of them from around $2.90 to $3.10 to pretty much draw a circle around that $3 mark for

01:08 all those lighter weighted Angus steers.

01:11 The coloured steers, well Hereford's were represented today in that representation with

01:18 some good quality, a bit of weight about them as well.

01:20 We did see those Hereford's steers from around that $2.60 to $2.85, it was just a handful

01:26 of them.

01:27 The heifers we've just gone about half way or three quarters of the way through that

01:30 Angus heifer market.

01:32 Some big pens sold to a top of $2.80, general run of Angus heifers around that $2.40 to

01:38 $2.65 and we did see strong competition on some tops of the drop heifers that were EU

01:44 accredited going back out to be breeders and they did reach the top of $3.30 for those

01:49 very top end Angus heifers.
