00:00 I find the role really rewarding because I get to see the cats from the very first moment they come in.

00:05 I can follow their journey through their health checks and their behavioural assessments

00:10 and then to see them be matched with the perfect home that then sees them safe is extremely rewarding.

00:17 So cats can come into us for a variety of reasons, I mean there's a lot of reasons.

00:22 We do have stray cats that come into us but the majority of them they're gifted into our care

00:27 and there can be an array of reasons why people need to give their cats to us.

00:30 Obviously we're currently dealing with a lot of financial issues but there's homing,

00:35 there's the rental situations at the moment, it can be only ill health, it can be a lot of reasons.

00:40 So I oversee all the rehoming and the intake and just the welfare of the cats on site once

00:46 they're with us to make sure that they're getting the best care that we can possibly provide

00:50 and that we're obviously finding them loving new homes as quickly as we can.
