Andre Braugher, , ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ and ‘Homicide’ Actor, , Dead at 61.
Braugher died on Dec. 11 following a brief illness, according to his publicist, Jennifer Allen.
For his acting debut, Braugher portrayed
a soldier in 1989's "Glory," a film about
Black soldiers in the Civil War.

series, such as 'Primal Fear,' 'Get on the Bus,'
'Frequency,' 'Gideon's Crossing' and 'Thief.'.
'Thief,' an FX miniseries, granted
Braugher a second Emmy. .
Braugher then spent three seasons with Ray Romano
on 'Men of a Certain Age' before landing the role
of Capt. Ray Holt on 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine.'.
