Severe storms and tornadoes swept through parts of the U.S. state on Saturday, killing at least six people and causing extensive property damage. In response to the devastation, the 33-year-old singer made a sizeable donation to the Tennessee Emergency Response Fund at the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. On Monday, CEO Hal Cato confirmed Swift's contribution to the organisation, which helps residents by providing financial assistance, food, temporary housing, and debris clean-up. "Nashville is my home and the fact that so many people have lost their homes and so much more in Middle Tennessee is devastating to me.”
