Kenny Michalak's Fatal Crash @ Houston Motorsports Park 2016 (Aftermath)

An experienced driver Kenny Michalak, 63-years-old, was the father of drag radial star Jason Michalak. He lost his life after a high-speed crash on a drag racing track at the Houston Motorsports Park in northeast Harris County, Texas. The accident occurred around 21h30 on Thursday, 03 March 2016 night.
While doing private testing at the track, for unknown reasons Michalak failed to brake at the end of one run down the strip, running at an estimated speed of about 120 mi/h (193 km/h). His Mustang went flying into the barrels at the end of the drag racing track. Emergency medical technicians, who were already at the event, jumped to the car and attempted to resuscitate Michalak, but he was pronounced dead on the scene. It is believed that he may have suffered a heart attack during the fateful run.
