00:49 Venezuela.
00:50 For Buey with the News, stay with us.
00:51 In Peru, social organizations held massive demonstrations in several cities against the
01:12 Dina Boulard regime and the Congress, and in opposition to the release of dictator Alberto
01:17 Fulgimoni.
01:18 Demonstrators raised slogans and banners that expressed this is not democracy, there is
01:23 no more democracy, and no one more dead out with Dina Boulard.
01:28 They also expressed their disagreement with the recent ruling of the Constitutional Court
01:33 that orders the release of the former Peruvian president Alberto Fulgimoni, a decision that
01:39 they describe as shameful.
01:46 In Ecuador, the Council of Legislative Administration of the National Assembly called approved on
01:51 Thursday the request for a trial of the prosecutors Diana Salazar for failure to comply with her
01:58 security functions.
01:59 The request for the impeachment was presented on November 27th of this year for the National
02:06 Assembly for the branch of the Security Functions of the Banks of the Citizens' Revolution.
02:13 In this sense, they called approved the request for a trial after having evidence of the facts
02:19 against the prosecutors Diana Salazar.
02:28 Today, we want to inform you that the legislative board of directors with five votes in favor
02:42 has approved the request for impeachment against the State Attorney General, Lady Diana Salazar-Mendez.
02:48 We want to tell you the country, we also want to tell all the political forces that make
02:53 up this legislature that is in a modern democracy, in the new way of doing politics, the exercise

03:05 In Buenos Aires, Argentina, the House of Deputies held the oath-taking ceremony for the 130
03:16 lawmakers last October, who will take office on December 10.
03:20 The House of Deputies received the resignation and leave of absence of the National Deputies.
03:26 Among them, the President-elect Javier Millet and his Vice President Victoria Villaruel.
03:32 Diana was presented over by the Deputy President of the Chamber, Cecilia Morel, who handed
03:38 over the Martin Menden from Rioja, and the so-called Nicolás Law was also approved,
03:44 which aims to improve the work in the health sector.
03:53 It seems to me that it must be the best predisposition to be able to discuss all the laws proposed
03:58 by the Executive, with a view to the fact that in reality, each bill that enters surely
04:02 has behind it the possibility of solving the structural problems that Argentina has been
04:07 dragging along in economics, social and unemployment matters.
04:12 In short, in all those problems that are a concern for all Argentinians, we are part
04:17 of a federal bloc.
04:18 We are going to defend and rescue those things that we have proposed during the whole campaign.
04:24 We have the idea of a much more federal Argentina, much more equal.
04:31 President-elect of Guatemala, Bernardo Arevalo, led a peaceful demonstration in Guatemala
04:35 City on Thursday against those who, he said, are trying to prevent him from taking office
04:41 next January 14.
04:42 Arevalo marched from the Supreme Court to the Constitutional Court bodies that have
04:47 to resolve legal actions against him and his party initiated by the Prosecutor's Office.
04:52 The walk was joined by indigenous authorities who for 65 days have held protests and sit-ins
04:58 in front of the Public Prosecutor's Office demanding the Attorney General's resignation.
05:04 That plurality from which we are going to build unity, that plurality that despite our
05:14 differences makes us clear that if we do not walk together, they are going to steal democracy
05:19 from us.
05:20 They are going to take away our opportunity.
05:27 They are going to kill our hope.
05:28 And they are going to plunge us into a cycle of hundreds of years and decades of swindling
05:37 the people and stealing our future.
05:40 No more.
05:41 Let us walk united from now until January 14 and from January 14 onwards.

06:07 He also took up the idea of creating a bio-sand-egg corridor that would reduce travel time between
06:14 Bolivia and Peru.
06:15 For his part, the Brazilian President assured that energy company Petrobras intends to invest
06:21 again in Bolivia.

06:43 to the challengers Great and Christmas, a human resources consultancy.

07:12 Welcome back to From the South.
07:42 Palestinian Gaza continues to face relentless Israeli bombardment as Assad in the Strip
07:46 enters its third month.
07:49 Israel continues to escalate its attacks, particularly in the southern areas, including
07:53 the border city of Rafa.
07:55 The strikes have killed and injured numerous Palestinians in various locations across the
07:59 Gaza Strip.
08:00 In the face of these events, UN chief Guterres has evoked for the first time since he came
08:06 to his position the recently used article 99 to force the Security Council to address
08:12 the war in Gaza.
08:13 When we were sleeping, we had a recurring nightmare, rubble above us.
08:23 Everything turned red and there was nothing but death around us.
08:27 We had nothing to do with it, but it seemed that the house next door was overcrowded.
08:32 Those houses are full of innocent people who had nothing to do with it.
08:37 We did nothing wrong, but the Israelis persist in taking revenge on all members of the Palestinian
08:42 people, old and young.
08:44 Palestinian children and their families, children in schools and hospitals in the Gaza Strip
08:48 are suffering from the lack of warm clothes and blankets from the winter, while large
08:54 numbers of displaced families make their way to Rafa in southern Gaza Strip.
08:59 UNICEF executive director Catherine Russell said in a statement the Gaza Strip is "once
09:03 again the most dangerous place in the world to be a child."
09:06 The high UN official warned that after seven days of respite from horrific violence, fighting
09:14 has resumed and more children will shortly die.
09:18 Before that, the ceasefire more than 5,300 Palestinian children were reportedly killed
09:24 in 48 days of red-lightness bombing, a figure that does not include many children still
09:29 missing and presumed to be buried under rubble.
09:39 Arab and Islamic nations are calling for a vote on Friday to draft UN Security Council
09:46 resolutions demanding a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.
09:50 The proposed resolution is in response to the letter the UN Secretary-General António
09:54 Guterres sent to the Council on Thursday, warning of an "impeding humanitarian catastrophe"
10:01 in Gaza and urging its 15 members to deliver that humanitarian ceasefire.
10:07 Palestinian UN Ambassador Ra'ad Mansour described as "courageous" the UN Secretary-General's
10:12 letter.
10:13 "We are enlarging this international coalition in solidarity with the Palestinian people
10:19 during these difficult times of this barbaric aggression against our people, particularly
10:26 in the Gaza Strip.
10:28 As we told you yesterday that we were putting the final touches on a draft resolution, that
10:34 exercise was completed yesterday, and our ideas were intertwined with the very important
10:42 courageous letter of the Secretary-General in which he invoked using Article 99 before
10:49 the Security Council."
10:53 Also Ra'ad Mansour, permanent observer to the United Nations, made some statements about
10:58 the murders and victims of the Israeli attacks.
11:00 "The number of killed are now in excess of 17,000 Palestinians and killed and injured
11:10 around 65,000, a large number of them, 70% of them are women and children.
11:18 This is something that is so disgusting and disgraceful to see this large number of children
11:26 being killed more than any other conflict since the creation of the United Nations.
11:33 This abhorrent behavior by the savages in the leadership of the State of Israel, who
11:40 should be held accountable for their crimes as we are debating in the assembly of state
11:48 parties to the ICC."
11:50 The Lebanese Islamic Resistance attacked several Israeli sites on the Lebanese border, leaving
11:55 several losses to the Sadanese army.

12:59 religious texts.
13:00 The law was passed with 94 votes in favor and 77 against, in the 179 seats established.
13:09 Over the summer, Denmark, the hot neighboring Sweden, became the focus of anger across several
13:16 Muslim countries after the level of protests involving burning and the segregation of the
13:22 Quran.
13:23 Nearly a thousand protesters attempted to march to the Danish embassy in Baghdad, fostering
13:29 a greens on in late July, following a call by the firebrand, Kyrgyz, that mocked at Assad.
13:43 Socialists on Thursday leave a state of emergency declared early in the day, following a huge
13:49 explosion at an explosive depot.

13:55 It took place around 2 a.m. local time on Thursday in the industrial area of Providence

14:28 Problems are the planning the electoral process in the Democratic Republic of the Congo just
14:33 two weeks ahead of the elections.
14:35 In addition to the war in the nation's east and other obstacles are the hand-draining
14:40 the electoral process.
14:41 The voters registration card acts as an identification but since their issue an unidentified number
14:48 of them have fared almost clean.
14:51 The cards are supposed to be delivered free of charge but there are widespread reports
14:57 of agents manning for the replacement.
15:09 I came here at 9.30 so I could get a new voter card because the old one became illegible
15:14 and everything disappeared, the text and the photo.
15:18 So I can't vote with a card like that so I need a new one.
15:28 Of course I was worried so personally I didn't think there would normally be an election
15:32 but when I came here I understood that there will be an election, I am reassured.
15:40 I have already seen them displayed, it is a big step ahead and it shows that there is
15:45 already seriousness a few days before the elections.
15:50 On Thursday West Africa's top court rejected a request by Nigeria's Junta for a lifting
15:55 of court-related sanctions imposed by its neighbors on the ground that it considers
16:00 the Junta unconstitutional and lacking authority to make such a request.
16:06 Following the July coup that toppled Nigeria's President Mohamed Basun, the West African regional
16:13 bloc ECOWAS imposed sanctions including shutting borders with a member country, suspending
16:19 financial transactions and freezing Nigeria's assets.
16:23 On the other hand, neighboring Nigeria cut off power that supplies 70% of Nigeria's electricity.
16:29 The de facto government of Nigeria, the unnatural persons and legal entities challenged the sanctions
16:36 at ECOWAS court of justice in Abuja, arguing they were accusing several hardships to Nigerians
16:43 by the current lack of supplies of food and medicine.
