In order to qualify for the
upcoming debate, candidates had to satisfy
the Republican National Committee's (RNC)
increased donor and polling criteria. .
That criteria includes a minimum of
80,000 unique donors, 200 of which
must come from 20 states or territories. .

least 6% in two qualifying national polls or
in one national poll and two polls from separate early-voting states," CNN reports. .

to sign a pledge promising to support whoever wins the GOP nomination.
