Tiger Woods reflected on his first tournament back from injury since April's Masters.

00:00 I was excited each and every day to kind of get through it and start piecing rounds together
00:05 again.
00:06 I haven't done this in a long time so it was fun to feel that again.
00:09 I think the best part of the week is the way I drove it.
00:17 I drove it on pretty much a string all week.
00:20 Granted these turns are big and so still missed but I felt like I had my ball speed up which
00:28 was nice and I was hitting the ball out of the middle of the face the entire week which
00:33 is nice.
00:34 It's not like I have to go and try to find something in the next few weeks or something
00:39 going into next year.
00:42 What I've been working on is right there and maybe just tighten up a little bit.
00:45 I think that I can get into the rhythm of it.
00:48 I think that having a couple weeks off to recover, a week to build up, there's no reason
00:53 why I can't get into that rhythm.
00:57 It's just a matter of getting in better shape basically.
01:02 I feel like my game is not that far off but I need to get in better shape.
01:06 I don't have the bone pain that I did but I still have to go to the same protocols.
01:12 It takes a long time.
01:13 That's the unfortunate thing about aging and trying to do something that's either worn
01:20 out my body or trying to keep up with younger people.
01:27 It takes a long time pre and post.
01:29 You spend more time in the treatment room and weight room than you do on a golf course.
01:35 That's just part of wanting to hang around as an athlete.
01:39 I'm ecstatic how the week turned out.
01:41 Not just for me playing but I think from organizationally of the event and how everything has been run.
01:49 Just the whole week has been very smooth and I think that everyone here has enjoyed it.
