00:01 "I need to get out there."

00:02 There's an originality to it,

00:04 which is important when you are dealing

00:06 with universal themes.

00:08 Finest Kind is essentially about the love and bond

00:11 that comes between family,

00:12 but then also loyalty and respect

00:14 and true care for one another.

00:16 It's like a beautifully effed up story

00:20 about family, lovers,

00:22 and about these two estranged brothers

00:25 that have come back together

00:26 and are trying to make that work.

00:28 Then it turns kind of crime thriller.

00:30 (gunshot)

00:31 - Charlie!

00:31 - What happens if we get caught?

00:33 - Getting caught is not an option.

00:36 - I never should have trusted you.

00:39 I do not understand the way you're built.

00:43 - It's so rare that you do a film

01:18 you can't help but understand

01:19 it's the biggest, most powerful thing on earth.

01:22 - These are maritime cowboys,

01:24 farmers of the sea.

01:26 - Need you to take my boat out for a run.

01:29 - The part that I'm concerned with

01:30 has to do with the relationship

01:32 between a father and a son,

01:34 and Brian has found a way to deal with that

01:36 in an original way.

01:38 - I'm gonna need a lot of help from you today, Charlie.

01:41 - You're gonna have to do just what I ask you to.

01:43 I really love Mabel and Charlie together

01:45 because they're both kind of in the same place in life

01:48 where they're trying to get somewhere else.

01:50 - I like trusting you, Charlie.

01:51 - Charlie wants to get into this world

01:53 and she wants to get out of it.

01:54 - They have resources.

01:55 They want to do business.

01:56 - As soon as this stuff with the drug syndicate,

01:58 the stakes become super high.

02:02 and all these emotions and everything come to a head.

02:11 - You know what line you're crossing right now.
