00:24 a scapegoat in a political game.
00:27 He said many people in Malaysia wanted to know who gave the order to kill a Mongolian
00:32 woman but he added that he could not reveal the identity of the person.
00:37 However he said the order to kill was made by a prominent politician.
00:42 Sirul had been detained by Australian immigration authorities since January 2015.

01:06 He hoped that the community in Australia will give him a second chance.
01:11 Altantuya was abducted and murdered in Sialam in October 2006 and her remains blown up with
01:18 military-grade explosives.

01:27 were convicted of the murder in 2009.
01:30 The Court of Appeal overturned the conviction in 2013 and ordered their release.
01:36 However the Federal Court upheld the conviction and reinstated the death penalty but during
01:41 the prosecution's appeal, Sirul fled to Australia.
