00:03 Yeah, I'm the founder of Slam Bar CIC.

00:05 Slam Bar is a live performance and artist development

00:09 program for young people aged between 14 and 25

00:13 who don't have access to live performance venues

00:16 such as the Lead Mill, such as Tramlines.

00:19 We also have partnered with Water Bear College of Music

00:23 in Sheffield, who do the more educational side.

00:26 And we are just a massive creative community.

00:30 It's a major, it's massive really to have

00:33 the number one leading platform for black excellence,

00:37 art history and culture here on our doorstep.

00:40 Young people are going to be aghast.

00:47 Best male act this year, just for the work, mate.

00:57 It just amplifies everything else that we are doing

01:00 with young people, you know, for them to be so close

01:03 to their aspiration, for them to be engaging

01:07 with their idols on the biggest stage at the arena.

01:15 in a positive way, in a safe space.
