Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is all set to participate in the virtual G20 Leaders' Summit, hosted by India. The Canadian Prime Minister's officer released Trudeau's schedule for Wednesday which has him joining in the meeting virtually.

01:06 Earlier, the Speaker of Canadian Senate, Raymond Gagny, skipped the presiding officer's summit
01:11 of parliaments of G20 nations that began in Delhi on October 12.
01:15 On November 12, Justin Trudeau reaffirmed his allegation of Indian involvement in the
01:20 killing of Hardeep Singh Ninchar, a designated terrorist in India.
01:24 Trudeau accused New Delhi of violating the Vienna Convention by kicking out 40 diplomats
01:29 at a time when his country had reached out to the former and other global partners to
01:34 get to the bottom of the murder.
01:35 However, Trudeau said that Canada wants to work constructively with India, adding that
01:40 Ottawa will always stand up for the rule of law.
01:42 In October, Canada pulled out 41 diplomats from India and also halted its visa and consular
01:48 services in Chandigarh, Mumbai and Bengaluru consulates in the wake of the Union government's
01:52 decision to strip them of their immunity.
01:55 However, the Ministry of External Affairs responded by saying that no international norms
01:59 were violated in India, seeking panity in the mutual diplomatic presence in New Delhi
02:04 and Ottawa.

02:07 Shankar responded to Trudeau's claims, emphasizing that the Canadian side was yet to provide
02:12 evidence to back its claims on the Ninchar killing.
02:15 Meanwhile, the G20 virtual summit gets underway on November 22, i.e. today at 5.30 pm.
02:22 The summit will witness a major gathering of world leaders.
02:24 Leaders of all G20 members, including the chair of the African Union, as well as nine
02:29 guest countries and heads of 11 international organizations, have been invited.
