01:00So I want to thank Governor Gretchen Whitmer for bringing it also to our attention very

01:17strong. And, you know, I'm not supposed to do that. She's a Democrat. They say, don't do that.

01:31Don't have her here. I said, no, she's going to be here. She's done a very good

01:35job, frankly, and she's she was very much involved with with the Republicans.

01:40They work together on saving it, and it was not easy. So I want to thank you very much,

01:45Gretchen. Good job. Thank you.

01:56Well, I hadn't planned to speak, but I'm on behalf of all the military men and women who

02:01serve our country and serve so honorably on behalf of the state of Michigan. I am really

02:07damn happy. We're here to celebrate this recapitalization at Selfridge. It's crucial

02:12for the Michigan economy. It's crucial for the men and women here, for our homeland security

02:16and our future. So thank you. I'm so, so grateful that this announcement was made today, and I

02:23appreciate all the work. Thank you.

02:24So I just want to say that Michigan, it's been my great honor to be here. I've had tremendous success

02:32in Michigan. Not all Republicans have, but I have. And not just this time, either. We had tremendous,

02:39we did tremendously well in 2020, and we did incredibly well in 2016. In 2016, they said,

02:47it couldn't be won. You know, it couldn't be won, but we won, and we won by a lot.

02:51So it's a special place, and I don't forget. I don't forget my friends, and Michigan's been my

02:56friend. And I want to just thank everybody here. I want to congratulate you, actually,

03:00because there are a lot of people who wanted this to happen to their neck of the woods,
