A 50-year-old man has been left in a serious condition after being struck by a taxi on Great Western Road.

The incident took place just after 1am on Sunday 19th November and the man is now in hospital.

Police are urging any witnesses to come forward to help with the investigation, and are looking for anyone who may have dash cam footage of the scene.

Next up, dozens of drivers have had LEZ penalty charges cancelled following a tribunal which concluded Glasgow City Council had made a procedural error.

The decision was made by the Transport Appeal Tribunal for Scotland which said the fines could not be enforced as they were not served using recorded or registered post.

The council said they have fixed the mistake and all fines issued from the end of October have been sent with tracked delivery.

And finally, a 20-year-old music producer from Glasgow has been nominated for five Grammys for songs he made in his West End bedroom.

Blair Ferguson who uses the stage name BLK has worked on songs with SZA, Diddy and Babyface.
