00:21 all built together since starting in my apartment eight years ago.
00:25 We have been through tough and great times together, accomplishing so much despite all
00:29 the reasons it should have been impossible.
00:32 But based on today's news, I quit."
00:35 He added, "Genuinely wishing you all nothing but the best.
00:40 I continue to believe in the mission of creating a safe artificial general intelligence that

00:46 Earlier in the day, OpenAI ousted Sam Altman from the company after an internal review
00:52 found he had not been consistently candid with his representations to the board.
00:57 As part of the announcement, the company appointed Chief Technology Officer Meera Murati as interim
01:01 CEO and demoted Brockman from his role as chairman of the board.
01:06 Confirming the news, Altman took to X and wrote, "I loved my time at OpenAI.
01:11 It was transformative for me personally and hopefully the world a little bit.

01:22 The RGPD, an artificial intelligence chatbot that has the capability to produce human-like
01:26 content in seconds, has ignited a race never seen before, catapulting Altman to a tech

01:34 OpenAI, the creator of this chatbot, said that a review process found that Altman was
01:40 not consistently candid in his communications with the board, hindering its ability to exercise
01:45 its responsibilities.
01:48 Altman helped start OpenAI as a non-profit research laboratory in 2015.
