00:30 Fans of the Young and the Restless have followed Joshua Morrow's character Nick Newman through his romantic escapades both on and off screen

00:38 ever since he joined the cast in 1994.

00:41 He's become a major heartthrob, a total ladies man on the show.

00:45 And let's talk about how he has managed to get us all hooked in Nick's dramatic love affairs with almost all the ladies like

00:51 Phyllis Summers, Sharon Newman and recently Sally Spectra. And especially since Sally and Nick broke up,

00:57 the fans think he might be on his way back to his true love Sharon.

01:01 His love life has been very eventful, but did you know the actor has a hidden past in real life?

01:08 Morrow was actually in a boy band and not just any boy band. This band started in 1998 known as Three Deep,

01:16 featured not one, not two, but three hunky members and it had two stars from Y&R.

01:21 Besides Joshua Morrow, there was his co-star Eddie Cibrian from the Young and the Restless who played the role of Matt Clark and

01:28 Canadian singer CJ Hooyer. Now, they weren't exactly a household name in the United States,

01:34 but they did make some waves up in Canada.

01:36 They even scored a top 10 hit with their single "Into You".

01:39 But sadly, the band's journey came to an end in 2001 and everyone moved on with their own life.

01:46 Eddie Cibrian eventually left the Young and the Restless to take on TV movies and then famously married the chart-topping singer LeAnn Rimes.

01:53 Meanwhile, as we can see, Morrow has been a famous and successful actor on the soap opera,

01:58 entertaining fans as Nick Newman for nearly three decades.

02:02 And you'd think a guy who can groove on TikTok and show off some killer dance moves would also love to show his music talent,

02:08 right? Well, not exactly.

02:11 Surprisingly, Joshua has kept quiet about his singing talents and his band overall.

02:16 Despite his dancing skills on display,

02:19 he hasn't shown much interest in serenading us. Back in 1993, when he was just a 19-year-old heartthrob,

02:25 he made it clear in an interview with Soap Opera Digest that acting was his one and only priority.

02:31 He said, "I'm not some model-turned-actor guy who's just doing it for a buck."

02:35 So, it seems like singing wasn't on the radar back then.

02:39 But who knows what the future holds? If Days of Our Lives, stars like Brandon Barish, Eric Martzoff,

02:45 Wally Kurth, and Carson Boatman have banded together to form the Day Players Band and taken their musical talents on the road,

02:52 maybe Morrow can do it again.
