The late Paul O'Grady has been recognised for his achievements with the Honorary Freedom of the Borough in his hometown of Birkenhead. During a private ceremony held in Birkenhead Town Hall on Tuesday, Paul's husband Andre, sister Sheila, daughter Sharyn and grandchildren gathered to receive the award on his behalf.

Liverpool's Eurovision legacy is set to live on as its 'United By Music' slogan will be used for all future contests. The slogan was created by the BBC for the 2023 contest, which was hosted in Liverpool on behalf of last year's winners, Ukraine. The aim was to reflect the power that music has to bring people together across the world.

Wirral's Eureka! Science + Discovery marks its first birthday as it welcomes its 100,000th visitor, cementing its status as one of the borough's major tourist attractions. To celebrate the milestone, the children and young people who helped co-create the attraction will be invited back to ensure they can see what they helped to create.
