Volunteer firefighters riding in outdated trucks

Volunteer firefighters fear their safety is being compromised because they're battling fires on outdated and unsafe trucks. Nearly 10 per cent of the state's fire trucks are more than 30 years old, prompting calls for the government to invest more money to bolster protection ahead of what is being predicted could be a horror bushfire season.
