Dramatic footage captures a small plane crashing into a car in North Texas over the weekend, with the McKinney Fire Department reporting that it landed on a runway, went through a fence, and collided with a car on the road.

00:05 into a car over the weekend.
00:07 The McKinney Fire Department says it landed on a runway, went through a fence and onto
00:11 the road before a collision.
00:14 Rebecca Butcher with our sister station in Dallas has the story.
00:18 We saw the tail end of it.
00:20 We didn't notice that it hit a car until we got closer and closer.
00:26 Carlos Wiggins is talking about a two-seater plane that went off the runway while trying
00:30 to land Saturday and crashed into a car driving along Virginia Parkway.
00:35 It happened around 12.30 p.m. in McKinney at the Arrow County Airport.
00:39 A passerby happened to take footage that captured the entire incident, which shows that plane,
00:44 a single-engine Lancer 4P, crashed landing and then it went the length of the runway
00:50 and through an airport fence.
00:52 Wiggins saw the aftermath.
00:53 Honestly, it happened so fast.
00:55 It happened so quick.
00:56 We didn't notice it was a plane.
00:58 We just seen a bunch of cars on one side.
01:01 The plane is registered to Ojos Aviation LLC, which is based in Midland, Texas.
01:07 We noticed that a plane, the plane actually collided with the car on the other end and
01:12 we saw the person on the other end.
01:15 They made it out safely, but they was laying on the floor.
01:17 It was pretty crazy, a chaotic scene.
01:20 A chaotic scene that involved three people who were hurt.
01:24 The McKinney Fire Department said two of them were from the plane and the other was from
01:28 the car.
01:29 Three people were treated by first responders on the scene.
01:32 One person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
01:36 We have not confirmed if the person who was injured in the car was the driver or a passenger.
01:42 The McKinney Fire Department said the plane was coming from Midland and was trying to
01:45 make an emergency landing in McKinney.
01:49 Wiggins was driving with an employee on his way to a moving job for a moving company.
01:53 He owns.
01:55 We both was like, this is unreal.
01:57 You know, it was pretty crazy scenario.
01:59 And yeah, to see that was unreal.
02:03 The NTSB says it's working with the FAA who will conduct a damage assessment of the aircraft.
02:08 It will then provide that information to the NTSB to determine if it warrants a full investigation.
02:14 We hopped out, people hopped out.
02:16 Well, we got on the ground and got to see, you know, up close, but you know, all in all,
02:23 it was crazy.
02:24 What was going through my mind was just like, you know, I hope everybody's safe.
02:28 And yeah, it's just going to be a story to tell.
02:32 Wiggins says he's thankful there were no serious injuries.
