¼ cup Milk Chocolate (melted)
Dried Rose Petals (for garnish)

Traditionally, making sweets during Diwali

is always an elaborate affair.

But right now, in this fast-paced life,

it is very difficult to keep up with these traditions.

Today, I'm bringing to you a recipe

which is so quick that can be made at home

and gifted to your loved ones.

Today, we're making stuffed dates in three different types.

Let's see how to make it.

The hero ingredient of this recipe is dates.

Today, I'm using Kalmi dates.

Let me show you how to deseed them.

First, we'll remove this hard part,

which is on top of the date.

Then we'll slice through from the center,

and remove the seed from the center.

We're going to leave this open

because we're going to stuff these dates.

I'm going to do the same thing with the other ones as well.

If the dates that you're using are too sticky,

you can also put a little bit of oil on your knife

so that it doesn't stick to your knife.

I'm using premium Kalmi dates today,

but you can also use any other kind of dates

either Medjool, Fardh, or any other type of date

The dates are ready to be stuffed.

Now let's have a look at our fillings.

The first filling is going to be cashew nuts.

I'm going to roast the cashew nuts in some salt.

So I have a pan over here

where I've been heating up table salt

for about 10 minutes on medium flame.

Let's roast our cashews in this.

When you roast nuts in salt,

it's very easy to get an even color all throughout them,

and they also get a little bit of saltiness,

which is perfect because this is going to balance out

all that sweetness from the dates.

We're going to roast the cashew nuts

till they're a little golden brown.

If the salt is heated properly,

it will hardly take a few minutes to roast the cashew nuts.

I'm just going to remove all these cashews in a bowl.

They have a nice and even color,

and if you notice,

there's a thin layer of salt all around them.

Similarly, I'm also going to roast some pistachios.

Pistachios will definitely be ready in just one minute

because normally pistachios are already roasted.

Similarly, I'm also going to roast some almonds.

Almonds will take about five minutes to roast properly.

you can cut them in half and check the color.
