00:04 something with a lot more ambition and

00:06 unpredictability that we haven't had in previous chases.

00:09 We'll be screaming through the streets of Rome, motorcycles, cars.

00:14 Everything that we shot is completely practical.

00:18 We're doing it right.

00:20 It all comes down to one thing.

00:22 How do we involve the audience?

00:23 I just want to give them that thrill.

00:29 We let the city tell us the kind of chase it was going to be.

00:32 Traffic in the city is notorious, and

00:34 the cobblestone streets make all of the driving unpredictable.

00:38 Best part is Tom and Haley, they're handcuffed together.

00:44 >> People are chasing us.

00:46 >> Yes, they are.

00:47 We're driving.

00:48 [MUSIC]

00:52 >> Tom had to drive one-handed cuffed, for real.

00:55 No cheating it.

00:56 >> The key is, don't crash.

01:09 >> Tom is driving and drifting one-handed through the streets of Rome.

01:16 >> Trying to do drifts every time you think you're going in one direction.

01:19 It's the cobblestones on the street say, no you're not, you're going this way.

01:22 >> You gotta get rid of this car.

01:28 >> Tom and Haley ditched the car for one of their IMF vehicles.

01:31 >> Suddenly, this tiny little Fiat 500 comes out of nowhere.

01:37 >> We built this Fiat 500 so that it would be faster.

01:41 [MUSIC]

01:45 >> You could barely control the car, it was treacherous.

01:47 >> The Fiat, that was wild.

01:51 >> Some would even say the car is possessed.

01:52 [MUSIC]

01:54 >> I don't think we could have made a sequence that was more difficult to shoot

01:57 if I had gone out of my way to do it.
