00:24 Born and raised in France, and I arrived here in Sydney about five years ago.

00:29 Dance is pretty much everything I do, no matter what the nature of the job is.

00:34 I guess it's quite a defining part of my identity.

00:54 It's a space to kind of be able to live this illusion of being fab

01:00 and being everything you want to be, being an apologetic in society that's

01:04 kind of pressuring you to fit into norms that you don't feel like fitting to.

01:13 I think just as things are in nature, I think

01:17 human beings are supposed to have some type of movement initiated

01:20 in their body as well.

01:22 And when you put cultural context, socioeconomical context,

01:26 political context, for me, I guess it created a story and reasons

01:30 why I had to start dancing.

01:35 Rivalry is more with yourselves because you face your fears,

01:41 your insecurity.

01:54 Now I'm based in the Gulf of Mexico.

01:59 As a vigor, you have a lot of support.

02:01 But I want to be supported because I'm a real good vigor.

02:13 I was the only girl for many years back in Chile.
