Police launch new Engagement Hub in Crawley

The aim of introduction of the new hub will aid police in cutting crime in the town centre and offer other benefits to the community

00:04 Neighbourhood Police and Team for Crawley.

00:07 We're here today in the High Street in Crawley with the introduction of this eco-friendly

00:11 Sussex Police pod, which will be an opportunity for people to come and see us and meet us

00:16 and reach out to us here.

00:18 Hopefully it will act also as a criminal deterrent for any criminal activity, but also increase

00:22 our opportunity to engage.

00:25 This pod will be staffed by police community support officers, police officers, we'll also

00:30 be using partners here as well from the Sussex Crawley Partnership, so the local authorities,

00:37 ambassadors from the council and community board members will be here and making best

00:42 use of this as well.
