New Variety of Silky Black Chicken Bred in Taiwan

Silky chicken meat is a delicacy in Taiwan but crossbreeding has led its distinctive dark color to become lighter over time. Taiwan's agriculture ministry has worked with the private sector to breed a new variety with better, darker meat.
