00:06 She had deformities, and they didn't

00:08 think she was going to be able to live

00:10 a regular lifestyle of a dog.

00:16 It'd be kind of like a bunny.

00:19 Was just bubbly, enthusiastic, hyper, a little spastic.

00:31 She was just always so happy, so playful.

00:34 She didn't have any idea that she had any special needs,

00:38 and I wasn't going to tell her.

00:41 Every dog deserves a life.

00:44 When she first came to me, she was so tiny that I foresaw

00:48 that she'd have to overcome a lot of struggles

00:50 with getting her back legs to work properly.

00:55 But she has that fighting spirit.

01:01 This is Nuggie, AKA Chicken Nugget.

01:04 She looked like a character out of a cartoon

01:08 that just evolved into this little chunky Nugget.

01:11 She opened up to my pack, and she just started moving.

01:23 Within the first three weeks that she was with me,

01:26 she was already climbing the little stairs up to the couch

01:29 to get to my big dog, Goliath, so that she

01:31 could climb all over him.

01:32 Then you'd start to see her, little by little,

01:39 putting the feet lower into the ground, starting to pick up.

01:42 It made just such a drastic difference.

01:46 We got through all of her shots, all of her rehab.

01:52 Look at this Nuggie.

01:55 It felt like Nuggie was with me for about two years.

01:58 But no, it was just a few months.

02:03 Honestly, about the fastest that a dog has moved with me.

02:13 as long as they have the proper adopter.

02:25 Luckily for Nuggie, her parents are so amazing.
