00:04 motion to dismiss the case. Majors was arrested on March 25 and charged with assault and aggravated
00:10 harassment after an alleged domestic dispute with Grace Jabari. Majors pleaded not guilty
00:15 and the defense had motioned to dismiss the case. Manhattan's District Attorney Office
00:20 filed a 115-page response to this dismissal motion, alleging that Majors' legal team leaked
00:26 and misrepresented court evidence and more. The actor's defense team alleged it was Jabari who
00:31 actually assaulted Majors and not the other way around. One of his criminal defense lawyers
00:36 alleges to have evidence that cleared Majors of any wrongdoing, including surveillance video that
00:41 showed Jabari completely unharmed. However, the 115-page response counters this, saying the
00:48 "surveillance video referred to by the defense actually shows Ms. Jabari visibly upset,
00:53 crying, and seeking help from strangers to get an Uber cab home." As the motion to dismiss
00:58 this case has been denied, the trial is set to begin on November 29.
