One Body Recovered, Four Missing After Freighters Collide in North Sea

One body has been recovered after two freighters collided in the North Sea off the coast of Germany. Two people have been rescued, while four remain missing. The collision occurred between the freighters Verity and Polesie around 0300 GMT on October 24, about 12 nautical miles southwest of Germany's Heligoland archipelago. The Polesie, carrying 22 crew members, was not injured in the collision. Another rescued crew member from the Verity was en route to the hospital. Divers are looking for signs of life inside the sunken Verity, as the missing crew may be sheltering inside the vessel on the sea floor according to officials.
