Part 6 of 6 of the wartime drama, inspired by a true story. Hugh is determined to reapply for the RAF, but neither Dr Meikle or Marjorie want him to do so for different reasons. Marjorie fears seem vindicated when Hugh hears bad news at the air base, but the tragedy also brings Hugh back into contact with his former fiancee Bunty, leading Hugh at a crossroads in his life of just what he will do?
