Jonny Lieberman and Jethro Bovingdon hit the streets to find out who can get a better time in this scene lifted from episode 109 of Head 2 Head.

00:07 Now we know that the McLaren makes 100 wheel horsepower

00:13 more than the Porsche.

00:14 We also know it weighs 150 pounds less.

00:16 So my plan is for every 10 pounds,

00:19 that's a half second penalty,

00:20 and for every 10 horsepower, that's a half second penalty,

00:23 which adds up to a 12 second handicap.

00:26 - Johnny's plan's great for Johnny,

00:28 but the course is one mile long.

00:30 12 seconds is crazy.

00:31 So we're doing six seconds. - I'm a pro driver.

00:33 - Six seconds.

00:34 - Which guarantees I'll lose by one second,

00:36 but okay, fine.

00:37 - Get in the car. - All right, all right.

00:49 Closed road, put a line on the road,

00:54 - Okay, Johnny, roll up to me.

02:16 I mean, you can lean on this car so hard.

02:18 It doesn't really have any bad behavior.

02:20 Yeah, I think I did all right.

03:42 I did lose launch control, and it did the same thing.

03:44 It like bogged, I didn't like it.

03:44 I had a bad launch too, so even there.

03:47 The car is unbelievably fast in a straight line.

03:51 Because we've got an incline,

03:52 the torque of this thing helps a huge amount.

03:55 But the front doesn't wanna stay locked in,

03:57 so through the long corners.

03:59 I love this 'cause it's got beautiful pedal positions,

04:02 so you can left foot brake.

04:03 So I'm having to dab the brakes all the time

04:05 just to get the thing to stay on line.

04:07 - How close do you think you were to me?

04:09 - If I was quicker, my run felt great.

04:11 If I wasn't quicker, I'd made loads of mistakes,

04:15 and basically I need another go.

04:17 - All right, yeah.

04:17 (laughing)

04:18 Let's go find out.

04:19 - I'm just taking out the SD card and check the data,

04:22 check the time.

04:24 - Okay, I'm gonna say this,

04:25 and I'm gonna be laughed off the screen,

04:28 but I think I was about three seconds behind you,

04:30 so with the six second handicap,

04:31 I'm gonna beat you by three seconds.

04:33 - Okay, I have the times.

04:35 We're gonna start with the Porsche.

04:36 - I don't know, why do I care is the thing.

04:37 I really kinda like--

04:38 - Because you're a man, and we're stupid.

04:40 - Yeah. (laughing)

04:42 - Okay, so the Porsche did a one minute 12.5,

04:46 top speed 80 miles an hour.

04:49 - Not bad for a 55 zone, yeah.

04:50 - Okay, so now the moment of truth.

04:52 The McLaren, on those really slippery tires

04:56 that need heat, and it hasn't got as much grip.

04:58 Anyway, the McLaren did a 106.65.

05:03 - I win by a tenth of a second.

05:08 - So you win--

05:09 - By one tenth of a second.

05:11 (laughing)

05:12 - You win by one tenth of a second.

05:15 - That's so annoying.

05:17 (laughing)

05:18 - Okay, so in the hollowest victory ever,

05:21 Lieberman and the GT3 RS win our road race,

05:24 despite losing it by 5.9 seconds.

05:27 Anyway, fun though that was,

05:29 now we need to set some real lap times at Willow Springs.
