Chief Justice Leila Seth: देश के किसी भी हाईकोर्ट (High Court) को जब पहली महिला चीफ जस्टिस (First Women Chief Justice) मिलीं. उनका नाम लीला सेठ (Leila Seth) था. हालांकि लीला सेठ को वकालत में कोई भी रूचि नहीं थी. फिर भी उन्होंने इस फील्ड को कैसे चुना और इस मुकाम तक कैसे पहुंची. लीला सेठ ना केवल हाईकोर्ट की पहली महिला चीफ जस्टिस थीं. बल्कि भारत के 15वें विधि आयोग (15th Law Commission) का हिस्सा भी रह चुकी हैं. लीला सेठ ने ही माता-पिता की संपत्ति में बेटियों का अधिकार सुनिश्चित करने के लिए पैतृक संपत्ति (ancestral property) से जुड़े कानूनों में बदलाव करवाने का भी काम किया था. इतना ही नहीं 2012 में निर्भया केस (nirbhaya case) के बाद इस संबंध से जुड़े कानून में बदलाव करने वाली जस्टिस वर्मा आयोग (जस्टिस वर्मा आयोग) के तीन सदस्यों में से एक थीं.
