London headlines October 20: Storm Babet causes travel disruption in London

Storm Babet has caused travel disruption in the capital with people being advised to plan their journey accordingly.   A 13 year old boy was handcuffed after police mistakenly thought a water pistol was a real gun.   RMT announces further strikes.

00:10 heavy rain and flooding. In London, a number of services have been impacted and people

00:15 should check before they travel on National Rail's journey planner.

00:20 A 13-year-old boy was surrounded by armed police while playing in the back garden when

00:25 his water pistol was mistaken for a gun. The boy, referred to as Child X, was handcuffed

00:30 and confronted by police in Hackney in July.

00:35 And finally, rail workers have voted to continue their strike action for the next six months

00:40 as part of their long-running dispute over pay and conditions. The RMT union said more

00:45 than 20,000 of its members were balloted across 14 rail companies, resulting in an overwhelming

00:51 yes for further strike action.
