Great meeting you again. Four months after the last meeting there has been a
00:05
bit more progress. I've actually got the game copyrighted which is very
00:09
important in this day and age and basically I've changed things on the board a bit
00:14
for legal reasons and this is my prototype here. Kind of a time I had a
00:20
stall, it went well, I got lots of orders so that's amazing and the next step is
00:24
actually getting the game manufactured onto boards. Then we've also got to get
00:29
a crease going down the middle so it can be folded, it can be put in a case or in
00:34
a box and you know it could be taken to barbecues, parties and things like that
00:38
so that is the next stage. Also there's going to be marketing that I've got to
00:41
start out as well so it is a long process but I'm getting there little by
00:45
little. This is like a ludi game, it's got four sections on it and it's a dice
00:50
game so you go around the board and you know it's all about the win-win story. So
00:55
for instance if you land in an area with a Jamaica flag which is here, it's
01:01
got things in like sweet reggae music so all the islands relate to something else.
01:05
You've got a Montserrat flag there and that's known for hurricanes so it tells
01:10
you a story going around the board, it also mentions pioneers as well. It's a
01:15
fun and educational game that parents can actually play with their grandkids. I
01:19
went to a black business expo which was very good, it had lots of stalls, lots of
01:23
talks about business and there was Sean Wallace and talking about his journey.
01:27
So basically when I went home I followed him up and I contacted him
01:33
and to my surprise he got back to me so that was amazing. So from there I went
01:37
along and I did an interview with him, with Sean Wallace, so it was great for
01:41
him to give me the opportunity because quite often people don't give you the
01:44
opportunity. So I met up with him basically and I did a turntable
01:48
interview. So he started off by asking me questions about the board game, where do
01:54
you get your creative ideas from, where do you think the game will go, you know
01:58
things like that. And so then I turned the table around to him, how long
02:03
have you been on the chase, were you bright at school, what makes you do
02:07
promotion videos every day, you know, and obviously answered all the
02:12
questions. So it was a very good interview and I was so lucky to actually
02:16
get that interview and the best thing is he gave me thumbs up to the win this
02:21
board game. The Dark Destroyer, that's his name, don't mess with him when it comes
02:26
to that game. Sean Wallace, he's definitely the man. Questions and answers, he sure
02:32
knows that plan. Black History is right through the month, beginning to end of
02:37
October and so you know people put on like exhibitions, shows, you've got local
02:41
poets, artists, singers, dancers and of course you've got good, good fine Caribbean
02:47
food. So it's a celebration right through the month and this year you know there's
02:51
a lot of events on, you know in Bradford, in Leeds and outside of Leeds which is
02:55
really good. With the support from everybody, the community, you know I can
02:59
get there and I can make my dreams come true.
