The prime minister says there is "no place for anti-Semitism" and that where it happens "it will be met with the full force of the law", as he visited a Jewish school in Barnet in solidarity with the UK's Jewish community. He adds "nobody wants to see regional escalation" in the Israel-Hamas conflict and that he has raised with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "the need to minimise the (war's) impact on civilians and the humanitarian situation".
