00:17 terror, for the murder of civilians and for the kidnapping of innocent people, including

00:23 I've just spoken with Prime Minister Netanyahu to assure him of the UK's steadfast support

00:28 as Israel defends itself against these appalling attacks.

00:31 We will do everything that we can to help.

00:34 Terrorism will not prevail.

00:36 Of course, no one wants to see regional escalation, and both the UK and allies have urged everyone

00:43 in the region not to use this as an opportunity to incite further violence or hatred.

00:47 And in the meantime, we will continue to provide Israel with every support that it needs as

00:52 we stand steadfast with Israel, including its right to self-defence to ensure that these

00:57 attacks do not happen and we will continue to support Israel.
