Israeli aircraft bombed an IRGC convoy in eastern Syria

The Israeli Air Force has carried out airstrikes on the runway of Aleppo International Airport in Syria twice in the past week. According to sources, the main reason for such actions was Tel Aviv’s desire to stop the arrival of aircraft from Iran, which are believed to be delivering weapons to pro-Iranian forces in Syria. In addition to the attack on the airport in Aleppo, another airstrike was carried out near the Syrian-Iraqi border. According to Directorate 4, the target was a convoy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, an elite unit of the Iranian Armed Forces. According to sources, the convoy intended to head to the western part of Syria, but as soon as it crossed the eastern border it was immediately attacked.Such actions by Israel indicate the continuation of an active policy of countering Iranian influence in the region. However, earlier in Tehran, the Israeli side was told that if it takes aggressive actions against the Islamic Republic, Iran could intervene in the war against Israel, acting on the side of Hamas and Hezbollah.
