Princess Anne confirmed that she decided opted out of giving her children royal titles because of the several drawbacks to being officially styled. The Princess Royal also conceded there are "downsides" Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall would have had to face like Prince William and Prince Harry do on an everyday basis. Princess Anne however ensured to uphold other royal traditions as she sent her children to boarding school like most of their royal cousins. Princess Anne said: ”I think it was probably easier for them, and I think most people would argue that there are downsides to having titles.
