Hezbollah hit Israel with copies of Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drones
  • 7 months ago
Hezbollah units took decisive steps, sending dozens of low-altitude kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and guided missiles towards Haifa and strategically important IDF installations in northern Israel. We are talking about the local version of the Iranian Shahed-136 drones. In addition, it is reported that more than two dozen saboteurs, using low-altitude paragliders to fly, penetrated into the rear areas of Israel. The situation is aggravated by the fact that the IDF air and missile defense radar circuit, based on the EL/M-2084 multifunctional radars, has demonstrated incapacity against low-altitude air attack weapons, which creates additional risks and challenges for the Israeli security system.Noteworthy is the information about a combined attack - the drone, according to unofficial data, hit batteries of Israeli air defense systems, which allowed Hezbollah to successfully land troops on Israeli territory.
