00:32 Let me make this very, very clear for the right-wing media and the right-wing

00:37 fascist and racist politicians in this country.

00:40 We're standing here, we're not defending Hamas.

00:44 We are here with the people of Palestine.

00:47 [Applause]

00:51 Palestinian life matters.

00:54 It is not if, it was a question of when.

00:58 When this is going to happen.

01:01 And we are here to stand in solidarity, sending our praise, thoughts

01:07 to all those innocent people who were killed on both sides.

01:11 Innocent people, I say, innocent.

01:18 This is not in my name.

01:20 I am in the name of Jewish people all across the UK and across the world

01:24 who have consistently stood up against the atrocities carried out in Gaza,

01:28 in Palestine, in the West Bank, and also we always stand in solidarity

01:32 with the Palestinian diaspora who are all across the world

01:36 because they've been forced out of their home lands.

01:41 We have a role to play in holding our government to account

01:44 for the bombs that are falling on children with our taxes in our name.

01:48 We say not in our name. Not in our name.

01:53 From the river to the sea, our friend will be free.

01:57 And most people know that every generation of young Palestinians

02:02 revolts against the oppression that they have been put under by the Zionist state.

02:12 The IHRA definition of anti-Semitism and its examples which effectively

02:17 try to say that any criticism of Israel is anti-Semitic.

02:20 This is totally and well untrue.

02:23 As you've heard from people who spoke from this platform,

02:26 we say there's a difference between criticising the apartheid state of Israel

02:31 and then opposing anti-Semitism.

02:35 There's a difference between these things.

02:37 And I want to kind of say very briefly what we've seen within the Labour Party as an example.

02:42 Once the IHRA definition was passed, there's been literally almost no official discussion of Palestine.

02:50 There's not a single MP that I'm aware of right now who's gone public and said that they condemn what Israel is doing.

02:59 Resistance is not a crime and we will stand shoulder to shoulder with every Palestinian

03:05 who fights back against their oppression and their tyranny.
