00:08 ends with the first goals conceded and the first points dropped in the Premier League in well over a month, but

00:14 upon reflection now we've had a little bit of time to sort of let the dust settle. It's probably a fair result.

00:20 Newcastle only had to turn up for about 20 minutes today to get the point and

00:26 probably could have been more if we're being honest. Newcastle in the first half

00:31 didn't really turn up, a bit leggy and

00:35 didn't really lay a glove on West Ham. West Ham weren't brilliant themselves either, but sort of stifled

00:41 Newcastle's midfield and took the lead early on. Thomas Suchek

00:47 Emerson's drag back after Nick Pope just charges, I wouldn't say aimlessly, he was going for the ball

00:53 but gets it all wrong and then a simple tap in for Suchek and West Ham take the lead.

00:58 Maybe just about deserved on the run of play in the first half, but second half Newcastle really stepped things up and

01:06 or just after the hour mark, the lead in 2-1, two goals from Alexander Isak, quickfire double from him. Now it's

01:16 seven goals for the season for Alexander Isak and I think only Erlain Harland has scored more in the Premier League this season.

01:27 then is denied by the post, would have been about a 10-15 minute hat-trick and

01:36 West Ham did get back into it, James Ward-Prowse had a free kick late on and then

01:42 late on, Mohamed Kourdes comes off the bench.

01:47 Newcastle's midfield just doesn't close the ball down, too far up Elliot Anderson, Sean Longstaff, Sandro Tonali doesn't cut it out and then

01:54 Kourdes finds the bottom right corner. 2-2 late on, it feels disappointing, but I think Newcastle have probably bought

02:01 the benefit of the doubt with recent results and they're forming the Premier League and
