Who would you like to see get a Sheffield Legend plaque?

00:13 Everyone knew about him back in the day. I think he was very well known.

00:19 Yeah, definitely.

00:21 Yes, Peter Strindfaller.

00:23 What do you like about Peter?

00:25 Well he was a bit of a notorious character but he put Sheffield on the map.

00:30 He was a local lad that gave himself a worldwide profile.

00:39 Yeah, Phil Oakley from Human League. Most underrated and deserving of much more praise.

00:48 Could you tell me please if there's anyone that you think ought to be given a star outside Sheffield Town Hall?

00:54 I'd probably say Alex Turner from the Arctic Monkeys.

00:57 Obviously brought a lot of review to Sheffield when he did that gig and was part of the week.

01:02 Billy Sharp and probably Kel Brook. Both did a lot of sport in Sheffield.

01:21 Pioneers of synth pop. Worldwide number ones.

01:24 And recently celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Dare album.

01:29 Who do you think they should give the next star to outside the Town Hall?

01:35 I think it should go to John Burkle.

01:37 Burkle did, yeah.

01:39 Because he's done a lot for charity and that. He's done it over a number of years.

01:43 And he still keeps doing it now.

01:45 He's raised a million pounds. He's still out more or less every day collecting.
