The Duchess of Sussex has long been open about her commitment to give all Americans the right to paid leave. Genevieve Roth, a strategic adviser for the Sussexs’ Archewell Foundation, has been busy lobbying members of Congress and even the White House itself through her role in Paid Leave for the United States (PL+US), according to POLITICO. PL+US is an American campaign group that is seeking to win paid family and medical leave by 2022. A spokesman confirmed the group “have collaborated with [Ms Roth] and the Duchess's team on the issue of paid leave”. It refused to give any further details.
