00:00 [REPORTING IN HINDI]
00:22 [INAUDIBLE]
00:23 Just curious what will you discuss with the Indian Foreign
00:26 Minister J. Shankar on the issue of Haji's signature
00:28 on 12th in Canada?
00:30 So the Secretary actually spoke to this at a press conference
00:33 on Friday when he was asked about it.
00:34 As he made clear then, I'll reiterate now,
00:37 we remain in close coordination with our Canadian colleagues
00:40 on this question.
00:41 We have engaged with the Indian government
00:43 on a number of occasions to urge them to cooperate
00:46 with Canada's investigation.
00:48 Has he agreed to cooperate with Canada?
00:50 I will let the Indian government speak for themselves,
00:52 and I will speak for the United States government,
00:54 and we urge that cooperation.
00:55 Someone last question.
00:56 There was a deadly bomb loss in Pakistan,
00:58 another suicide attack.
01:00 More than 50 people killed.
01:01 Most of them were children.
01:03 And those that claim--
01:07 TTP and ISIS, you know, always claiming these attacks.
01:10 So we have heard a number of statements
01:12 from Biden administration officials
01:13 that the US will keep its capability to target terrorists
01:16 in Afghanistan.
01:17 So what stops the US from targeting TTP and ISIS
01:21 hideouts in Afghanistan?
01:22 I'll say with respect to counterterrorism cooperation,
01:25 we cooperate with Pakistan in a range of multilateral fora
01:28 on issues including terrorist designations
01:31 and global strategies to defeat terrorist groups.
01:34 Earlier this year, we held a high-level counterterrorism
01:36 dialogue to discuss the shared terrorist threats facing
01:39 our two countries and to work on strategies
01:43 to cooperate in areas such as border security,
01:46 terrorist financing.
01:48 And we will continue to work with Pakistan
01:51 to ensure that we can better assist Pakistan's effort
01:54 to counter all forms of violent extremism.
