01:17 Amid the chaos, the Armenian Red Cross has been evacuating people injured in an explosion

01:23 at a fuel station that killed at least 20 and injured hundreds.

01:27 Russian peacekeepers have also been transporting survivors to Armenia.

01:31 It`s thought the cause of the blast was accidental rather than an attack,

01:35 but it highlights the dangers of the sudden mass movement of panicked civilians.

01:39 Meter by meter, these Ukrainian troops are holding the line near Bahmut.

01:48 Their MODs released images showing that despite criticism that the counteroffensive is too slow,

01:54 these troops are making progress.

01:56 They say they`re proud to be part of the state border guard service,

04:52 A Kosovo court has remanded two alleged gunmen in custody after their arrest last weekend.

05:01 It follows a deadly ambush and standoff with police at a monastery near the border with Serbia.

05:07 A third suspect was detained the day before.

05:10 Drone footage of the siege at the monastery has been released by Kosovo`s interior ministry.

05:17 The government in Pristina is claiming that the deputy leader of the Sperska List party,

05:21 which represents many ethnic Serbs in Kosovo, led the group which carried out the weekend attack.

05:27 Milan Radojicic is said to be closely associated with Serbia`s president.

05:33 Meanwhile, Serbs in northern Kosovo lit candles for the gunmen killed in the clashes with police.

05:42 A Kosovo police officer also died on Sunday in an ambush before the ensuing gun battle at Banska monastery.

05:49 The clashes are the gravest escalation in violence in Kosovo for years.

05:54 A blow to migrant trafficking in Germany where police have dismantled a smuggling network of people

06:03 who pay between 3,000 and 7,000 euros to enter the country illegally.

09:28 Some of the largest online platforms like Google and Meta that signed the code of practice six months ago now,

09:34 published a first report on Tuesday showing how they`ve turned commitments to reduce the spread of disinformation into practice.

09:41 According to the report, millions of fake accounts were identified and misleading content was restricted.

09:47 Commissioner Jourova also had a message for Elon Musk who withdrew Twitter from the voluntary code of practice earlier this year.

09:53 Mr. Musk knows that he is not off the hook by leaving the code of practice,

09:59 because now we have the Digital Services Act fully enforced as Twitter has been designated as the very large online platform.

10:08 Of course, there are obligations given by the hard law.

10:15 So, my message for Twitter is you have to comply with the hard law and we will be watching what you are doing.

10:23 According to her, it`s the combination of AI and disinformation which is creating the biggest headache.

10:29 So, how easy is it to address these new challenges?

10:32 This analyst says that the largest platforms dominance can be challenging and also that the EU`s current policies are not enough.

10:40 We see a contrast here. On the one hand, platforms want to be mobile in terms of content.

10:48 The content often creates this mobility.

10:52 So, they are going to face something that creates the benefit and the profit they want.

11:01 So, it is an important parameter in the fight against disinformation.

11:07 There are other important dimensions, such as education.

11:10 People, citizens of young age, should be educated, to have this critical view of digital media.

11:20 Another solution being proposed includes technologies that automatically identify fake news.
