Residents in the remote communities of the Fitzroy Valley in WA's Kimberley region have witnessed a significant milestone aimed at safeguarding them against major floods. The first property has been raised above a one in one-hundred year flood level with hopes the adjustments being made to homes will allow families to safely stay in the area ahead of the region's wet season.
