Transcript
00:00 Awesome, so can I ask you your names and why are you here today?
00:04 I'm Adam and this is my wife and we've brought our car up to drive around Scotland.
00:10 We came up here last year and enjoyed it so much, we're back up here again.
00:14 We drove up last night from Kent and we're now going to go around Skye and the Isle of Mull
00:23 and we heard the car show so we've come to the car show as well.
00:26 Fantastic, how are you enjoying Nairn so far?
00:29 It's been beautiful, we've only been here since last night but with weather like this it can't be better.
00:34 And everybody is so friendly.
00:36 It's been lovely.
00:38 Amazing, can you tell me a bit more about your car and the story behind it?
00:42 Yeah, it's a 1949 Bentley, Mull and the Bodied Bentley Mark VI.
00:47 I helped a friend out to do a house clearance for him and we found it in the garage.
00:54 It had been hidden in the garage for about 30 years, we got it out and without too many mechanicals or anything else
01:01 got it running and it's here today.
01:05 It's been resprayed but other than the respray and a little bit of mechanical work it's original.
01:10 It drives beautifully and hopefully it will drive very well for the next two weeks around Skye.
01:17 Fantastic, can you show us around a bit?
01:21 The carpet is not original.
01:25 You need to be comfy as well.
01:28 It is comfy, it's a lovely thing to sit in, a lovely thing to drive.
01:32 It's got all our stuff in it for the next two weeks.
01:35 So it's a bit full out.
01:38 I'm just going to do the tour around.
01:42 [Tour begins]
