The WA Government is proposing an overhaul of laws surrounding political donations which would see the details of the contributions made to political parties published online every seven days and every 24-hours during election periods. The Government says it'll create better transparency and it's also planning to introduce caps on donations to prevent influence being purchased by the highest bidder.
