Twitter to Ban Political Advertisements Facebook has been under scrutiny
in recent weeks due to their handling
of political advertising. Twitter Chief Executive
Jack Dorsey has decided to take
the opposite stance of his social
network rival regarding the issue. Dorsey announced
the move in a series of
tweets on Wednesday. However, Dorsey did
say that there would be
exceptions, such as ads
promoting voter registration. Though many seem to support
Dorsey's stance, Twitter shares dipped
slightly after the announcement.
