Right behind the Santa Junta Elevator you'll find the Convento do Carmo which still stands there partly destroyed from the big city changing earthquake of 1755. Most of the roof has collapsed and the rib like arches of it still stand. Which makes it a bizarre and must see Lisbon attraction.
